Some Condensation Is Normal #
Condensation can occur inside any shed, especially in spring and fall when temperature swings are large and humidity is high. This is generally not a cause for concern if it’s occasional.
Persistent Moisture — Possible Causes #
- Insufficient ventilation — Ensure any vents are unobstructed; periodically opening the door helps
- Caulk failure — Inspect the exterior for any separated caulking around trim, windows, or corners
- Drainage issue — Ensure the ground around the base slopes away from the shed
Active Water Intrusion #
If you’re seeing actual water coming in — not just surface condensation — contact us promptly for an assessment. This may indicate a caulking failure, shingle issue, or drainage problem that we can help diagnose.
