Common Causes #
- Seasonal wood movement — Temperature and humidity changes cause slight swelling; this often resolves on its own
- Shed settlement — If the foundation has shifted, the door frame may be slightly out of square
- Loose hinge screws — Tighten or replace
- Paint or swelling at the door edge — Light sanding and repainting can help
